The Finnish Scottish Society would like to warmly invite you all to our 2025 Burns Supper to celebrate the life and works of Scotland’s bard, Rabbie Burns.
Our Burns Supper takes place on Saturday 1st March 2025 at Il Canto-sali in Kulosaari, Helsinki. The event runs from 19:00 to 23:00. Doors open 18:30.
A Burns Supper is a three-course meal held in honour of the Scottish national poet, Robert Burns. The centrepiece of the meal is a haggis, served with neeps and tatties, which is brought into the room to the sound of bagpipes and greeted with a reading of Burns’ poem “Address to a Haggis”. There will also be performances of Burns’ music and poetry, a performance from Helsinki Pipes and Drums, and other entertainment and refreshments. The menu includes vegetarian/vegan haggis, and vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free starters and desserts.
There is no dress code, but kilts and tartan are encouraged. The event is strictly for adults (18 years and older).
Our Burns Supper is always a fantastic event, and we hope everyone can join us again for another great evening.
We look forward to seeing you all there!
