Membership of the Finnish Scottish Society is open to anyone with an interest in Scotland and Scottish culture. You don’t have to be Finnish or Scottish to join – everyone is welcome!
Rules of the Finnish Scottish Society
As a Society member, you will get the following benefits:
- discounted entry to our paid events.
- prioritised booking to our paid events.
- advice on matters related to Scotland and Scottish culture.
- have the chance to meet Scotsmen in kilts and other friendly new people.
- be entitled to attend the Society’s AGM and have your say in the running of your Society.
The annual membership fee for Ordinary Members is €10. Children under the age of 18 may join the Society free of charge as Junior Members if one of their parents is an Ordinary Member.
The membership year of the Society is from 1st January to 31st December. All memberships automatically expire on 31st December and must then be renewed.
All decisions concerning the admission of individuals as new members of the Society are made by our Executive Board.
