The Finnish Scottish Society warmly welcomes you to our first event, a cèilidh in honour of St Andrew’s Day! The event takes place on December 3rd, 2016 from 7pm to midnight.

For the uninitiated, a cèilidh is a traditional Scottish social gathering with folk music, dancing, food, drink, and above all, merriment. If you don’t know the dances, don’t worry – the steps are simple and the band will teach them as they go. Just bring yourself along and have a great time. Kilts are optional but encouraged.

Tickets cost €20 and include entry to the event along with some traditional Scottish food during the evening. The cèilidh is bring-your-own-bottle.

To request tickets, send an email to [email protected] – we’ve already sold over half the tickets, so get your email in soon to avoid disappointment.

Also, feel free to join us in the afternoon before the cèilidh for a family fun day.

Finally, for a wee preview of what to expect on the night, watch this:
